DAZZLING DUETS

Come and watch the "Dazzling Duets" concert on January 5, 2006 (Thursday), 4:30 p.m. at the Glee Club Room, College of Music and the Performing Arts and on January 6, 2006 (Friday) at the Paco Park at 6 p.m.

Six piano majors from the College of Music and the Performing Arts comprise the piano ensemble. Led by Prof. Mary Anne Espina, the group held their first performance on October 7, 2005 at the Glee Club Room and graced the "First Paulinian Piano Festival" on December 11, 2005. "DAZZLING DUETS" will showcase musical pieces from Mozart, Brahms, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Poulenc and Debussy.

The Piano Ensemble is made up of bright and promising students namely: Jeddi Cris Celeste, Ma. Rita Galuna, Eloise Lei Gonzalo, Melvin Lazaro, Jenny Joey Medina and Melissa Taqueban under the tutelage of Prof. Mary Anne Espina.

Concert at the Park

St. Paul University Manila Guitar Quartet and Ensemble under the musical direction of Maestro Jose Valdez perform on Thursday September 29, 2005 6:00 p.m. at the Conference Room A of St. Paul University Manila and on Friday September 30, 2005 6:00 p.m in Paco Park Presents.

St. Paul University Manila Guitar Ensemble began as a duet playing Maestro Valdez’ popular arrangements. With its growing popularity the duet evolved into an ensemble
Comprising the Ensemble are Guitar Majors of St. Paul University Manila College of Music and The Performing Arts – Maybelle,Sarah, Richmond,Rocky,Adolfo,Erickson and Billy under the guidance of the renown Maestro Jose Valdez.
The program features a combination of classical as well as popular, familiar tunes. Among these are 3 Fugues (Pachelbel), Telleman Concerto, Sometimes When We Touch, Beauty and The Beast and other favorites arranged by Maestro Jose Valdez.
